Nigerian songwriters and singers, Wizkid, Davido and Burna Boy recently astonished Nigerians after they were featured in Forbes ‘100 Innovations, Inventions & Icons From Africa’.
Also, stars from Nigeria like the Director General of the World Trade Organization, Dr Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Genevieve Nnaji, Olugbenga Agboola, Omotola Jalade Ekeinde, Funke Akindele-Bello, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, and Mr Eazi, Olugbenga Agboola featured in the list which even infused the pride of Nigerians.
Among these stars, Nigerians are celebrating just three stars who were featured in the list and the stars are Burna Boy, Wizkid and Davido following the musical qualities they have got.
Forbes announced publicly that the list was made to profess the African award-winning capability, role models and to define the growth of the African greatness so far.
In their words, they said:
“This also include the award-winning ideas that had defined the African continent and influential role models that have spelt Africa’s growth over the last decade.”

Reacting to this, the Nigerian actress Omotola jelade appreciated Forbes for featuring her in the list.
