The federal government are on the verge to compromise with the central bank so to assist farmers with some loans so to infuse the country’s agricultural activities.
The head minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Sabo Nanono has announced they are compromising with the CBN so to loan farmers some money.
According to him, he said.
“The ministry would support the farmers with agricultural inputs and zero-interest loans through the Central Bank of Nigeria and other financial institutions to mitigate the effect of the COVID-19 and the recent flooding especially in Kebbi, Jigawa and Kano States”
He is more focused on Kebbi, Jigawa and Kano states while they are still in progress with the compromises.
