Newcastle never allowed such to quench their confidence as they battled head to head with the Hammers and levelled the game in the late minute of the first half.
The goal came as a smuggled goal in the 45+1 minute after Willock sneaked through two defenders to tap in the equaliser.
The points were shared by the two teams as they head to hunt for their various goals from their next fixtures.
