Popular Nigerian Afrobeat giant, Davido has finally poured his utterances into the distasteful Nigerian 2023 Presidential Election in which Bola Ahmed Tinubu was astonishingly declared the winner.
The singer was still grieving the death of his beloved late son, Ifeanyi Adeleke when the heated election transpired so he was unable to fully participate.

Despite the view of this, his fans were still curious to know who he cast his vote for among the top three candidates.
During his recent interview with Channel4news, the interviewer stylishly asked him to reveal the candidate he supported.
The ‘Timeless’ crooner laughed it out and identified himself as a leader alluding to that with the claim that he supports himself.
His words:
“Myself, I’m a leader myself”
However, he still disclosed his astonishment with how people still accepted his album despite that it was released at a grieving point. He publicly condemned the 2023 Nigerian presidential election sparking vast reactions among Nigerians.
His words:
“The elections were tough. It was a tough period for Nigerians. I’m happy that I dropped the album and it was accepted. I know people are still going through a lot in the country and everybody knows that even in the past I have been vocal about politics.”
“I don’t blame. Some people have families, and children. Do you understand? Some people are built for it, some people are not and I can’t blame anybody. I’m sure everybody has their views personally, you know? And if you dint want to talk about it, it’s obvious where you stand.”
