Popular cleric, Most Rev. Dr Chibuzo Raphael Opoko, the Methodist Archbishop of Umuahia, Abia State, has said that he is not going to recognise anyone as Nigeria’s President-elect until the petitions filed at the tribunal as a result of the February 25 presidential election are all concluded.
He made his anger known to the world during an interview with Vanguard. He expressed his disappointment at the Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), for failing to upload the presidential results directly from polling units to its server via the Bi-modal Voter Accreditation System, BVAS machines as required by the new Electoral Act, and as earlier promised by the authority.

On February 29 after the Nigerian presidential election, INEC declared Bola Ahmed Tinubu the President-elect of Nigeria even though the election was allegedly ridged.
This has been causing commotion online as Nigerians keep fighting for their desired candidate identified as Peter Obi.
