Former President of the Federal Republic Of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has voiced out in reaction to the recent Presidential and National Assembly elections.
In an Open Letter, the respected politician urged President Mohammadu Buhari not to allow some individuals and INEC staff to tarnish his legacy having promised Nigerians a free and fair election before leaving the presidential office.

He contended that INEC officials were bribed during the elections amid how they did not use the Bimodal Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) or the Server purchased for the electronic transmission of election results.
Obasanjo indicated that even though INEC chairman, Yakubu Mahmood tried to portray an ignorant ability over the fraudulent activities, he should not fold his hands and allow the corrupt actions of some of the commission’s staff to prevail without correcting them.
He further stated that if the INEC chairman wants to prove that he is guilty he should save Nigeria from the looming disaster waiting to happen as a result of what he identified as a “flawed” election.
