A Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) pastor Ebenezer Oduntan has been arrested for alleged theft of over £70, 000 from a company and church in Co Kildare over eight years.
The Office of the Director of Corporate Enforcement (ODCE) said that the victim Oduntan, with an address at The Close, Curragh Grange, Newbridge, Co Kildare, was captured and charged at Newbridge Garda Station.

After the charges, he was then brought to the Naas District Court where he judged and was charged with 30 theft, 4 charges of furnishing false information and 5 charges of providing FALSE information.
The charges were triggered by an investigation condoned by the ODCE in relation to the alleged misappropriation of cash from the company and church of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), City of David, whose residence is located in Toughers Business Park, Naas, Co Kildare.
Evidence was however provided, charged, and cautioned by the Detective Garda Glenn Mackessy of the ODCE, IrishTimes reports. According to him, he outlined that the the Director of Public Prosecutions had directed trial on indictment.
