The Governors of the 17 southern States in Nigeria has compelled and have said that the next President of Nigeria should come from the south.
The governors announced their takes and aspiration on Monday after their meeting which was condoned in Lagos.

They also emphasised fiscal federalism, restructuring open grazing and the state police.
According to the Governor who spoke on behalf of the 17 governors, he detailed their craves requesting that the next president should be named from the southern region to disclose the debate of favouritism and tribalism in the Democratic government.
In his words, he said:
“The forum reiterates its commitment to the politics of equity, fairness, and unanimously agreed that the presidency of Nigeria be rotated between southern and northern Nigeria and resolved that the next president of Nigeria should emerge from the south”
The federal government has also announced the consideration of their craves which has sparked debate online.
