He did incredibly overcome Anthony Joshua’s enhanced boxing ability having worked so hard for the rematch. Joshua had the better hand but the Ukrainian still outclassed him.
After the 12th round when both great boxers had gassed out, Anthony Joshua displayed his frustration by stealing Usyk’s moment and astonishingly threw his belts outside the ring asking “How possibly the Ukrainian managed to defeat him again”
He pointed out poor skills and techniques that never justified his loss. However, after his team convinced him to stay professional, he came back and gave Usyk his credit.
In his words, he said:
“This guy to beat me tonight, maybe I could have done better, but it shows the level of hard work I put in so please give him a round of applause as our heavyweight champion of the world”
This is already historic. Many generations are going to watch this fight, especially the round when someone tried to beat me hard, but I withstood it and turned it in a different way.”
