Davido’s lawyer, Prince has opined that Wizkid deserved the Grammy Plaque he lost to the African giant, Angelique Kidjo.
This came shortly after Wizkid shockingly lost his two nominations. He lost to Angelique Kidjo in the category of Global music album and also lost his second nomination in the category of best global performing music.

Despite the alleged feud between Davido and Wizkid, his lawyer stooped by honesty and declared that Wizkid deserved it.
In his words, he said:
“I don’t know much, and don’t speak much on these things, but we ALL KNOW that award belonged to ‘Essence’. They gave the world an ANTHEM.”
