The quest for fitness and diet has increasingly become a norm in recent time with many individuals seeking products that could speedily help them loose weight while seeking other benefits.
In response to this, several products have been put out over the course of time, but our attention is drawn to the viral V Shred diet known for its robust advertisement campaigns across social media platforms.
What is V Shred Diet Programs?
As established in the preceding paragraphs, V Shred diet is an eating plan that encompasses tailored V Shred workouts and supplements. In other words, it is a series of virtual training and nutrition programs.
Through its lengthy marketing videos often heralded by fitness personality Vince Sant, who extensively promotes the brand amidst multiple testimonials by clients who claim to have achieved desired results in 90 days, V Shred diet promises to leverage unique insights into body types and metabolism for rapid weight loss and muscle gain.
According to the company, its categorization of individuals into endomorphs, ectomorphs and mesomorphs help to provide tailored dietary approaches to each client according to their body types.
For clarity, endomorphs refer to people who naturally have higher amounts of fat and muscle and have higher chances of gaining weight more easily than other types. Ectomorphs refer to people who are naturally leaner and who tend to gain weight less easily than other types. On their part, Mesomorphs are people who have a natural ability to gain muscle and lose fat.
Aside Vince Sants lengthy lectures on the benefits of using the products, V Shred diet promises a supplement guide for both men and women and prides itself as a provider of world-class training programs, premium content and 1-on-1 coaching for men and women who want to lose weight, build muscle or tone up.
One of its’ promotional strategies have been to offer potential clients what seems like an incredible discount offer as soon as they visit the company’s website while compelling them not to leave the site or pay twice the amount should they revisit. Its products are usually sold for between $47 and $99 according to sources.
While V Shred is reported to have amassed a high volume of sales across the globe, there has been lots of concerns regarding the viability of the brand and its products.
What Norton Said
Reported on multiple platforms, a nutritional sciences researcher with decades of experience, Layne Norton has faulted V Shred Diet for multiplicity of reasons.
Firstly, Norton argues that V Shred’s assertion that it was leveraging a Harvard-discovered secret loophole, “hormone irisin” to help people lose weight was false, especially as the company claims that the rest of the world doesn’t know about this loophole.
Norton further argues that while adhering to the diet program may work for a short time, there are no little-known scientific loophole or diet plan engineered for any specific body type.
What Other People Are Saying
It is nearly impossible for any brand to carry out such robust advertisement campaign as V Shred Diet did without any results. Therefore, several people in need of the satisfaction the brand promises have previously subscribed to services and a significant number still possess tendencies to purchase packages.
However, we have taken a tour to find out what clients are saying about the fitness and diet brand and here are our findings.
“Bait/hook experience was AWFUL
“Initially looked great, but then: SUPPLEMENTS. a never-ending push to buy supplements. The checkout experience was one of the worst ever: “Don’t close this window or get double billed” and no way to stop the sales pitchES,” Douglas Wirnowski from the US lamented the marketing strategy employed by the brand on Trustpilot.
Also from the US, Dawn thinks the brand deserves a pass mark for the job its trainers are doing. She wrote on Trustpilot:
“They respond back to you in a timely manner. I am just getting started and I was really unsure about how to locate my meal plans. I picked the wrong one. When I contacted my trainer, he responded back in a positive and helpful way. As a teacher, this is very important to me.”
Paul Sharples says V Shreds’ marketing tactic is misleading.
“I listened to a long drawn out video that kept promising to “reveal” the “key” to fat loss. Of course after many minutes of padded out waffle, the whole thing naturally ends in an attempted sale. You are pressured into making a limited time discounted purchase and to heighten the urgency they even include a stupid countdown clock saying that if you leave the page you’ll never get the deal again. However, I found that if you go back to their website and complete their questionnaire again, provided you are prepared to sit through the agonising video again, you will have yet another chance to buy at the discounted rate. A misleading and frankly dishonest marketing ploy. And I don’t do business with that sort of company. So, no thanks V Shred,” he wrote.
Gary says, “Unrealistic advertising. Product has NO effect on some people. The HYPE suggests that you need only do minimal things to reach a high goal, it does not meet that as portrayed. just another get rich scam that we all try and then you will (like others) disappear in the wind with all the money.”
Claire Keast laments her experience saying, “Complete scam, waste of money and time. DO NOT get pulled in. Checked with other industry professionals, V Shred has an appalling reputation as rip off scammers. Allegedly Set up by 4 Harvard Grads, no PT professional training to make money with an on line platform. AVOID AVOID AVOID!”
Meanwhile, on Product review, Kristy B expressed disappointment with the product. She wrote, “I bought the turbo program just so I could get some menus and workouts to continue on my own. They didn’t live up to their end of the bargain. I never received the one call with the coach. I needed to alter the menu a little, and the workouts a little. It took too much time for responses considering I only had 30 days. At the end of 30 days, they texted saying my time was up but I could get the next program and use what I paid for this one to take off the amount for the next step. So basically got nothing but a few recipes put of this $500 purchase. Do not recommend.”
Similarly, Lizzie from Western Australia described her experience as a waste of time. She wrote, “It tells you you get a meal plan and create a plan but the app does not do it keep getting emails to metabolic test and they then want more money the plan does not create a plan does not calculate your calories someone told me they use my fitness pal app to help but not sure that will help you understand about macros etc wasn’t happy as soon as I went on app.”
From our assessment at Xclusiveloaded News, V Shred got more unpleasant reviews and very poor ratings from those who claimed to have purchased the product on both Trustpilot and Product review. This, however, does not represent Xclusiveloaded News’ opinion of the product and does not in any way, endorse the views and opinion of users expressed thereof.
