While Wizkid was shading Davido on X (formerly known as Twitter) he was busy bagging business success abroad.
In recent hours, Davido advanced his deal with Puma after selling his collection with them in less than 24 hours.
Sources disclosed that he was rewarded with an extra $2 million deal added to his recorded $10 million, equaling Rihanna’s Puma deal.
This alleges to Wizkid’s recent furious call-out involving Puma deal where he bragged that they couldn’t afford him.
Perhaps, despite that Wizkid was extremely furious to Davido, detailing the insight to the true reason why he parted ways with Puma, Davido seemed unbothered.
Forward to date, Davido made history, averaging Rihanna’s Puma sales in 24hrs after collaborating with Puma to launch his collection.
Reports claimed that he sold over 1 million copies of his collection within 24rs of his launch.
The launch party featured great icons who were in attendance to support Davido, creating instant impact.
Meanwhile, the fresh fued between Davido and Wizkid sparked after the ‘Gobe’ crooner allegedly scrapped off his position from Puma. According to sources, Puma who was in negotiation with Wizkid offered him $10 million. He rejected it, awaiting a fresh proposal only to discover that Davido accepted the same offer after they had offered him the same amount.
Rumours disclosed that after Davido sold over 1 million copies from his collection in 24hrs, Puma added $2 million to his deal, catching up with Rihanna who is paid $12 million.
Even though Wizkid had boldly and pubicly denounced his fate with Puma, outlining that they couldn’t afford him, Davido is still thriving in his deal with the fashion firm.
The situation allegedly left Wizkid furious, which he expressed via his X handle, distaindfully shading Davido and his family.
