The Ex_Vice president of Nigeria who is famously known as Atiku Abubakar has publicly condemned the recent arrest of the EndSARS protesters including the famous Nigerian comedian Macaroni.
Recall that the Nigerian Police force invaded the Lekki toll gate and arrested EndSARS protesters who resumed their protest on 13th February 2021.
The Ex-Vice President of Nigeria has publicly announced his nostalgia over the arrest as he condemned the Federal government’s action over the protesters.
He felt to announce his feeling and took to his Twitter handle and poured them out.
In his word, he said:
“The 1999 Nigerian constitution, as amended (Section 40) guarantees the right of citizens to peaceful protest. The courts have also affirmed that right. Anything contrary to that is not acceptable and stands condemned.”
