Afrobeat youngster, Divine Ikuvor who is known popularly as Rema has revealed that he decided to abandon his admission at the University of Lagos because of the 8-month-long strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
Despite that he has long shown passionate interest to acquire a degree, Rema has disclosed why he abandoned his admission at the University of Lagos.

During his recent interview where he discussed his musical career, the ‘Reason You’ crooner outlined that the school system of Nigeria in which one of the bodies identified as ASUU sparked the idea of quitting school to focus fully on music.
According to him, he vowed that the frustration of their 8 months strike pushed him to abandon the quest. Without showing no remorse, Rema disclosed that her mother is not bothered about his decision too.
